Pandora Hearts

This had to be one of the most inspirational, heart warming , thought lacing anime's I have ever seen.
At first I was like, wow, this is so stupid. I mean come on, how many animes and mangas have, 'your very existence is a sin,' in them...let's just say more then enough. But Oz was sort of cute, so I gave it a shot.
The song, which plays through out the series, Lacie, is gorgeous (its my ring tone)  it's almost as if it were a melody of a spell or something.
Anyhoo...
Pandora Hearts taught me so much about myself and others that I re watched it over and over again. It may sound dumb, but Elliot definitely changed my point of view in life. And you may not agree or think I'm being dramatic, but this anime changed who I was.

Cast:

               Oz Vessalius
Oz Bezarius

He's the main character of this series. He is going through his Coming of Age Ceremony (turning 15) when the plot starts to builds up and the story begins. His personality is, and usually stays, very energetic, optimistic and bright. He pushed himself hard as a child , trying to make his father proud of him, making himself study longer and harder then probably any kid ever should. His unique relationship with Gilbert in the beginning of the story and then Raven after Gil...'left,' it's sort of a heart warming intimate one. I related to him a lot actually. He's all smiles on the outside, but on the inside, he struggles against his past, the present and the future. He also tries to figure out how to deal with his 'sinful' life.

Alice
Alice/  B-Rabbit

She probably the second main character in the story. She's a chain who persuades Oz to join her so he can get back home (will later be explained), and he does. Through out the anime she looks for her memories, this is a big part in the plot, bringing the company to different locations and scenes. She is loud, opinionated and a bit barbaric, I don't blame her, since she's not from our world. This girl will eat just about anything, anytime, especially meat. Every person like this has a softer side to them when it comes to certain people right? That person for her is Oz, she dubs him as her 'manservant,' mostly because she hates when Oz leaves her alone (her past plays a big role in this feeling she has). She always lightens up the mood and makes me laugh. She's a bit lost, without any memories, and turns to Oz and the others for help.

Gilbert

He is Oz's servant, who of course, becomes his best friend over time. He is a bit shy and cowardly, his hilarious fear of cats always amuses me and makes me think that he's only a little bit  insane. He definitely will do anything for his master. He's such a sweat heart. I had a hunch about him and it was later proven right, but he's so loyal.

Xerxes Break
Xerxes Break

He's probably my favorite character in this series! He is such a joker, but has a sensitive side. He's works for Sharon (see below) and definitely takes to serving her very well, and will do everything in his power to insure her safety, even if it means sacrificing his goals for her. He has a darkened past and seems to be straight up most times. Even though he can be a bit overwhelming at times for the other characters, they can't help but liking him. He love sweets and almost always has Emily on his shoulder. He has a 'contract,' with the Mad Hatter and he works for Pandora. He comes across as very carefree and is rarely serious at all.

Sharon Rainsworth
Sharon Rainsworth

She's not as creepy as the picture looks, really. She's the lady of the Rainsworhth house hold and has a contract with Eques, a black unicorn. She's always wanted a younger sister. She is very gentle, but can be aggressive when she wants to be. She is a very interesting character through out the anime to me and has a close relationship with Break and she cares deeply for him like a brother.

Gilbert Nightray
Raven

He is a member of Pandora, like Break and Sharon. He has a younger brother who he somewhat despises (reason is later revealed). From the second it is shown that Oz comes out of the Abyss, he has been shown to care deeply for him and loyal as well. He is a bit dark at first but lightens up later on. He has a contract with the Nightray's family chain, Raven. He also uses his power to control Alice through Oz. (will be depicted).

Ada Vessalius
Ada Bezarius

Oz's younger sister who loves and adores him to the moon and back. She will listen to him when she'll listen to no one else and she'll follow him to her death it seems.

Oscar Vessalius
Oscar Bezarius

At first I figured he was Oz's father, but sadly, it's not true. He is Oz's uncle who Oz merely treats as a father because Oscar is like one to him in many ways. He is easy going and caring, both Oz and Gilbert treat him like a father because Oscar was the one who found Gil and brought him to the Bezarius household. I figure he knows a lot more then they let one, but he is still very important to the show.

Jack Vessalius
Jack Bezarius

Can you say Oz much? he is loud and cheerful and just oh so fun. He "defeated" Glen Baskerville. He is like Oz in so many ways, his appearance and personality. There is much more on him later on, but he seems to have a part in Alice's and Raven's memories. OMG I'm pretty sure he's Oz!

Vincent Nightray
Vincent Nightray

He is usual seen smiling through out the anime, but people like that always have a darker side. He has an older brother that he loves to the point of a obsession. His mother sold him and his brother to a Freak show when they were younger. He is the master of Echo, see below and is scheming against Oz's group of Raven, Break, Emily, Alice and Sharon.

Elliot Nightray
Elliot *********

All his pictures were so creepy! Anyways, he is Vincent's step brother and is the heir to the ********* family. He is opinionated, hotheaded and very haughty, almost. He hates the Bezarius family because he believes they can get away with anything because they were the hero's 100 years ago (will be explains). He said words that changed my life forever and I <3 him for it, even though he is a character.

Echo
Echo

She reminds me of a puppet, emotionless and blindly loyal. She is Vincent Nightray's personal servant. At first it was shown that Vincent treasures her, but it winds up a bi different later on. As the series (manga) goes on, more and more is explained and it makes more and more sense.

Reim Lunettes
Reim Lunettes

There's always that nervous jumpy character right? This guy is it, but has a bunch more too him then that. He is a member of Pandora and does much of Breaks work for him. Even though he complains about always being busy, he seems to show some sort of compassion towards Break and Sharon (the reason is later revealed) he is actually caring and details even though he doesn't show it much. Break often teases him, making him flustered, but he does have an interesting character. He accidentally finds out about Oz returning from he Abyss and gets roped into all the action.

Plot:

Oz Vessalius, heir to one of the duke houses, has just turned fifteen. His life is rich and carefree, darkened only by the constant absence of his father. At his coming-of-age ceremony, however, everything changes. For no reason that he can discern, he's cast into the prison known as the "Abyss", only to be saved by a "chain" known as Alice, the bloodstained black rabbit. It is unknown why was he cast into Abyss, how does Alice factor into it all, and what does the organization known as "Pandora" want with him.
